Higher Brothers were a Chinese hip-hop group from Chengdu consisting of MaSiWei, DZKnow, Psy.P, and Melo. Signed to 88rising, they became the first Chinese rap act to gain significant international attention, blending trap production with Mandarin and Sichuan dialect lyrics before disbanding to pursue solo careers.

China's hip-hop exploded via The Rap of China, with Chengdu and Chongqing as major hubs.
