Tiger JK

Tiger JK is often called the godfather of Korean hip-hop, having pioneered the genre as one-half of Drunken Tiger starting in 1999. Born in Seoul and raised in Miami, he brought authentic American hip-hop sensibilities to Korea and co-founded Feel Ghood Music with his wife Yoon Mi-rae.

South Korea has one of the most vibrant hip-hop scenes in Asia, fueled by Show Me the Money and a thriving indie label ecosystem.
